Paul Lemuel Boggess (1898-1978)

Paul Lemuel Boggess

Paul Lemuel Boggess was born on February 25, 1898, presumably in Boggess, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.  He was the only child born to James Lemuel Boggess and Tennessee Allen.  James was raised on the family farm in Greenville, Muhlenberg County.

On September 12, 1918, Paul enlisted for service during World War I.  He was working for his father as a farmer at that time.  He was of medium height and slender build, with grey eyes and light hair.

Paul Lemuel Boggess died on April 7, 1978 in Greenville, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.  He was 80 years old at his death.
