Martha Ann Nourse was born on November 14, 1902 in Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was the youngest of three children born to John Davis Nourse and Elizabeth Celia Utley.
Martha married Maurice K. Long on May 2, 1921, in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was 18 years old and he was 20 years. Maurice was born on November 15, 1900 in Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky.
In 1930, Maurice and Martha were living at 1442 Ingleside in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. Maurice was employed as an office manager for a newspaper agency there in Jacksonville. They had two children at that time: Betty Sue, born in 1902, and Maurice W., born in 1926.
Martha Ann Nourse Long died on November 3, 1987, just eleven days before her 85th birthday. She was living in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida at the time of her death. Maurice survived his wife by eleven years.
Maurice K. Long died in Jacksonville, Duval, Florida on August 27, 1998 at the age of 97 years.
