Thomas Floyd Ragsdale (1899-1991)

Thomas Floyd Ragsdale

Thomas Floyd Ragsdale was born on August 23, 1899, presumably in Pottsville, Pope County, Arkansas.  He was known by his middle name, Floyd.

At the age of 19, Floyd registered for World War I on September 12, 1918 in Russellville, Pope, Arkansas.  From his registration card we learn that he was about 5’10”, of slender build with brown hair and blue eyes.

In 1930, Floyd was working for the State of Arkansas as a Civil Engineer and living with his parents in Illinois, Pope County, Arkansas.  In the census he is listed as a veteran of the World War (WWI). 

Thomas Floyd Ragsdale died on October 14, 1991 in Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas.  He was 92 years old at his death.
