Charles Henry Crump (1899- )

Charles Henry Crump was born March 8, 1899, in Grant County, Louisiana.  He was the son of John Franklin Crump and Frances Lorena Boggus.  He was raised in Grant County, Louisiana, and Jones County, Texas.

Charles registered for the draft for the First World War on September 12, 1918 in Jones County, Texas.  At that time, he was described as short, of medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

In 1920, Charles was living in a home in Stamford, along with three of his brothers, (Oliver, William, and Lou) and his sister, Edna, and her two children.  Charles and his brothers were employed as cooks in a café in Stamford.
