Prentis Auburn Wickliffe died December 5, 1961 in Fort Worth, Terrant County, Texas. He was 58 years old at his death. Lucretia went on to live another 35 years. She died August 3, 1996 in the same place. Lucretia Ledbetter Wickliffe was 89 years old at her death.
