Nellie J. Luckett Daughter of John M. Luckett & Sarah Catherine Wickliffe
Nellie J. Luckett was born in November 1873 in Boggess, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. She was the fourth of six children born to John M. Luckett and Sarah Catherine Wickliffe. She was raised on the family farm in Boggess.
Nellie lived with her mother in her home in Boggess, until her mother’s death in 1911. In 1920, she was living with her sister, Belle Southard, in Court House District 3, Muhlenberg, Kentucky. She was 49 years old and worked as a manager of a home farm. Nellie never married and she died on July 1, 1921, probably near her sister’s home in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. She was 47 years old at her death.
