Henrietta married George D. Burns around 1918 in East Liverpool, Columbiana County. She was 21 years old and he was 20 years. George was born May 3, 1898 in Ohio, the son of George and Bessie Burns.
After their marriage, the couple settled in a home in Wellsville, Columbiana County. George was employed as a pipe fitter for the railroad, and eventually opened his own pluming shop by 1930. George and Henrietta had at least one child:

George Dewey Burns died on January 15, 1958 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at the age of 59 years. Henrietta survived her husband by 22 years.
Henrietta Hobbs Burns died on August 2, 1980 in East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio. She was 83 years old at her death.
