Dorothy May Hallsman (1906-1974)

Dorothy May Hallsman was born on February 23, 1906 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.  She was the daughter of Claude Edward Hallsman and Mary Belle Conkle.  She was raised in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.

Dorothy married Paul R. Callahan on June 22, 1927 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.  She was 21 years old and he was 25 years.  Paul was born on September 16, 1901 in the same place.  He was the son of James J. Callahan and Catherine Brady.  Paul and Dorothy had at least four children:

Mary Jane                 born and died June 16, 1928

Elizabeth J.               born 1929

John                           born 1931

Sue C.                        born December 9, 1937

Paul R. Callahan died on February 24, 1962 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.  He was 60 years old at his death.  Dorothy died 14 years later.

Dorothy May Hallsman Callahan died on August 24, 1974 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at the age of 68.
